Africana Studies works closely with and strongly supports the initiatives for experiential learning, including doing community work, run through the Center for Learning in Action. For a listing of some of these opportunities, see here.
The Chaplain’s Office at Williams, the Center for Community Engagement, and other groups on campus are also active in the local community.
If you are interested in pioneering your own community service project, please contact either the Director of the Center for Learning in Action or the Chair of the Africana Program.
