Ngonidzashe Munemo, Associate Professor of Political Science and Chair, International Studies Program, will give the first lecture of this year’s Faculty Lecture Series: “Elite Games, Institutional Choice, and Stability in Post-Reform Africa.”

The special mandate of the annual Faculty Lecture series at Williams College is to present big ideas that cross disciplinary boundaries. The talks are free and will be followed by free receptions in Schow Atrium. The public is invited to attend.

The Faculty Lecture Series was founded in 1911 by Catherine Mariotti Pratt, the wife of an Assistant Professor of Philosophy, who wished to “relieve the tedium of long New England winters with an opportunity to hear Williams professors talk about issues that really mattered to them.”
