Williams College’s Africana Studies Program invites you to a FREE (with Williams student/faculty/staff/affiliate ID) screening and discussion of Forrest Whitaker and Ryan Coogler’s important new film, Fruitvale Station.
This film, released at the height of the Travyon Martin trail in July (2013), underlines the danger facing young Black men in America, as well as the activism they have both elicited. These topics will be among the subjects discussed in a panel discussion with Africana faculty immediately following the film.
