Social justice educator, dancer, percussionist and untiring advocate for Africana Studies and Africana students, Arif Smith, is returning to his home state, Oklahoma, to join Public Strategies, Inc. in developing a comprehensive system of programming to support students (K-12) and families in northeast Oklahoma City. We will miss him dearly, wish him well, and look forward to his returning to Williams, Ph.D. in hand, to help us to continue to build a vibrant and ARTISTIC Africana program.
